However, this year, a new food item stole the spotlight – a $100 box of chicken nuggets topped with caviar. This unique treat quickly gained popularity among tennis fans, food enthusiasts, and social media influencers.

Faris Salem, a 23-year-old from Boston, decided to try the nuggets during the men’s singles final after hearing about them on TikTok. Despite the high price tag, Salem was intrigued by the novelty of the dish and was not alone in his curiosity. The nuggets, created by the team at Coqodaq, a prestigious Manhattan fried chicken restaurant, were only available to fans with club level tickets at Arthur Ashe Stadium. These tickets were selling for around $1,000 each on Ticketmaster, but that did not deter fans from indulging in the exclusive treat.

Throughout the two-week tournament, the nuggets became a sought-after item, sparking debates online due to their expensive cost and exclusive nature. Gracious Hospitality Management, the company behind Coqodaq and the Michelin-starred Korean steakhouse Cote, reported selling approximately 100,000 handmade nuggets during the tournament, showcasing the popularity of this luxury snack among attendees.
